The European Union's Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive 2002/95/EC limits the use of certain hazardous substances currently used in EEE manufacture, including lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, and halide-containing compounds PBB (polybrominated biphenyl) and PBDE (polybrominated diphenyl ether). FastVision will transition its product line to be RoHS compliant in 2006. Products not selected for RoHS compliance redesign will continue to be available for sale, subject to the normal business and technical considerations.
